The beginning made sense. The end was harsh. I got lost somewhere in the middle.
I recognized the one paramedic as the fake mafioso guy from that one episode of The Office, and knew he was going to be more than just that bit part at the beginning.
Glad this Calvin plot is over. It made no sense. Imagine getting some random tween kid foisted on you after a drug addict you've met two times decides to skip town, all without consulting you. That'd be fucking crazy! And then the kid crying out for Olivia at the end? No way. They've only been together for like a few weeks at most at this point. The kid didn't have a bad life before her. Olivia was still working cop hours, so she probably didn't have much time to spend with him anyways. All of it was ridiculous nonsense.

I love multiple-episode continuations, but I wish they'd air related episodes like this in order; otherwise, it gets a bit confusing.
Anyway, the ending broke my heart.
