Episodes that go in completely different directions than you're expecting are usually a treat. When they made a point of showing the boyfriend listening in on their conversation and tweeting about it, I thought that was going to lead to something. But nope.
Oh, huh, the suspected victim/meth-head was played by Deborah Ann Woll. I thought I recognized her. I know her from D&D stuff - I honestly didn't know she was an actor as well.
I don't doubt that solitary fucks with your mind, but it felt a little overplayed here. If it was only 3 days, you could spend most of that time sleeping. Donovan even said as much during his testimony.
Oops, I don't like when I accidentally watch an episode out of order like I just did. However I guess it doesn't really matter with this show, since for the most part there isn't a continuous story line like most shows. Oh well, now I'll just have to watch episode 2 and then on to episode 4.
