She's dying, but tricks her adopted son-turned-lover (not even going to touch how messed up that part is) into getting arrested, all because she thinks he slighted her. Interesting episode, though. Don't see too many of these gray area cases. Yeah, she murdered 5 men, but it wasn't really out of maliciousness or sadism.
The opening was quite strange. I don't know if I've ever seen a L&O episode show someone getting killed for... laughs? I guess that was the intended effect? It was really weird, and doesn't end up affecting anything else in the story. Very tonally jarring with what L&O usually is like.
