Forget the plot of the episode, WHAT was up with those weird transitions between scenes? Did a 5th grader edit this for his school project?
I agree that this was kinda unnecessary. I never felt that Villanelle's origins were something the show needed to explore. What I liked the most about this was her dynamic with Bor'ka; Villanelle with kids is always fun to watch. But still, this did feel like a filler episode designed specifically to get Jodie some nominations come award season.
the fuck did I just watch? yeah, of course we’re russians play with cow shit and everyone looking like a gloomy goblins. also, the whole family singing Elton John song? really? in homophobic country? haha, funny, tell another one. the last scene was Emmy worthy, but overall the episode is so boring.
Honestly... this felt a bit unnecessary.
Like this episode was built up just so Jodie could get many awards nominations. Didn't add up much to the story, at least for me.
And also, where's Eve? lol Feel bad for Sandra. Don't think that's fair.
Giving a 3 just because of the final scene, really great acting, but other than that... it's a big NO for me.

This whole season is a complete WOT and this episode it's the perfect example of it. Unnecessary plots of a show that should have ended last year. Judie Comer is phenomenal but I'm just sad that this show will plummet into a low rating ending (if there ever will be one). Real shame.
True, it might not have added much to the story, but I think it's always worth it to get a deeper insight into the main character's past and it was done with the show's trademark mixture of drama and comedic relief. Plus I could watch Villanelle all day no matter what she's doing.
I can't believe a Killing Eve episode, especially one about Oksana's family would bore me so much. I can't believe they managed to make that so lame. The characters were uninteresting with no substance, the plot was completely pointless, the humor didn't work for me at all.
This episode clearly shows that some people like Villanelle and some like Eve and some like both, even if this wasn't too relevant for the main story (Or maybe it is, we don't know) it was fun! This season I was kinda loosing my interest on Eve until last episode so TO ME this episode was really entertained.
Really weak episode. Struggled to keep my attention on it to be honest. Wish this show still had Phoebe Waller Bridge writing it. Miss her wit
I wish they didn’t off her family this soon, especially if her mom is the reason why villanelle is the way she is, like we could’ve explored that way more. At least she didn’t off the kid too!

I feel like one of the few people who genuinely enjoyed this episode. It was great to see more backstory and VIllanelle, and yeah - it wasn't the "best" episode so far, but I wouldn't say it was the worst.
This episode should have been titled " Waiting Fo Oxana To Pop" You knew it was coming. Then it did. Loved it.
What was the point of this? I wasted an hour of my life so that Villanelle could get an origin story that came with no new insights whatsoever. But hey, at least they gave her mommy issues instead of daddy issues.

I've only been watching Killing Eve for a short time.
Seasons 1 and 2 were great, Season 3 so far not quite as good - but this episode is a cheek.
It has nothing to do with the series in terms of content, the plot could be attributed to any series character of any series.
It's as if they accidentally wrote one episode too few and had to quickly insert another one.
Hopefully the next episodes will continue like this.
I was never so happy for Villanelle's kills. This was a must.
But the ep was soo boring and Villanelle as a village person in a stereotypical way was so.... bleh.
Any hope i had for Villanelle is now lost. Maybe there was some justification to why she does the things she does - but after this, all is lost. She needs to go

I don’t understand all the negative comments and ratings. This was EASILY the best episode so far this season. It had by far the best acting too. This whole season has felt a bit off, and this episode is no different, but it was a fantastic one-off episode.
