[6.1/10] Not the show's funniest episode. I liked about half of it. Revealing that the dad from Seventh Heaven of all things is Dee and Dennis's real dad is an amusing idea, and the juxtaposition between his altruism and their utter terribleness had a few chuckles. I like the resolution, that when faced with what his family truly is, the Stephen Collins character wants nothing to do with them and their utter selfishness and they're back to feting Frank.
It's the rest of the episode that's pretty meh. Frank's freakout in the restaurant after finding out his kids aren't his biological offspring was a good comic outing for Danny DeVito, but the rest of his material trying to figure out myspace and beat up his kids' bioligcal father was fairly weak. Even weaker were Mac and Charlie trying to do it to prove to Mac's dad in prison that they were "hard." There's some dumb, hacky prison humor that doesn't really go anywhere. I did enjoy the Frank-Charlie paternity twist, as they even dressed Charlie to look a little more like Frank in the episode.
Still, overall, this was a weaker note to end the season on. Hopefully better things to come!
