6.5/10. Perfectly acceptable HIMYM. The fight thing is a bit of a silly storyline even for this show, and had a certain sitcom-y quality that the series usually puts more of a twist on. I'm actually a fan of Will Sasso, but his character was pretty broad here and it didn't play to his strengths. The same goes for Robin melting at the very sight of somebody fighting. It's a decent enough note for her to play, but it ends up being pretty cornball. The saving grace is Marshall as the pacifist who eventually turns out to be the most experienced fighter of the three (and the juxtaposition between the Minnesota Nice roughhousing and the Fight Club homage is superb), and the fact that the kindergarteners learn nothing from all of this is a nice little subversion as well. It's an inoffensive episode of the show, but one without much to recommend it specifically.

I'm not convinced that Marshall was the one who knocked out Doug. Unless it was shown, I'd say it was most likely Robin instead. Marshall being somewhat experienced at fighting is probably a gag.
