You could see the Sid being mardy plot coming a mile away. Seems to be the usual formula for long distance relationships in tv shows. It wasn't a good look on him. Especially since he's bascially been flirting with the woman off the plane until recently. So he doesn't get to be jealous of her coworker at all.
Tbh I just don't vibe with him at all. She deserves better, not giving up LA for him!
