Honestly didn't like the episode. Starting with very very bad special effects... c'mon if you can't deliver it, don't add it to the story The acting of pretty much everybody was over the top in most of the scenes.
It was good to see Chin finally confronting Adam about those pictures and having him clarify that he really is leaving all the baggage of his past behind for Kono. Kamekona was funny in his brief scenes, and his reaction to the bomb was actually how everybody should have. Now, as much as I love a girl bonding moment, What the hell was that with having Kono and Catherine going along Steve and Danny after the bomb and leaving Chin and Grover behind in the HQ?!??! Shouldn't it have been backwards, it's Kono's wedding day, so she should've try to avoid any potential bruise/cut or whatever situation, (clearly Grover and Chin could go instead), and Catherine?!?! She is nothing official anymore, so yet another excuse to have her running around with a gun (or in this case, driving). And why does her car have cops siren? Again, she is not part of any law enforcement anymore, so people can't just have those lights on the go inside a civil car. It was nice to see them all dressed up while trying to solve the case... very James Bond of all of them! And Steve/Danny's scenes were the BEST!! All of them showed that they really are friends. Kono was a beautiful bride! I still complain about the fact that they make Kono's mom look like her grandmother!!! Dude, it's the 21st century, there is a little thing called Hair Dye & Colourants that pretty much every women uses nowadays. And as for the ending, nice to open up a new villain... and Gabriel might actually come out more likable than Wo Fat ever was. He was right, while everybody was worried about Danny back there, Chin was forgotten by his friends (it was one of the things I didn't like in that episode). Chin knows that his friends care about him and that Gabriel is trying to play him, but hearing the true must have sting a bit.
How much action can you handle in an episode. Wow. Huge opening sequence, an unexpected reappearance, bomb explosion on a massive scale and kinda wedding. Awesome.
