This episode really gets the story pushed along.
As a person who never actually got into Halo the video game, and didn't know anything about the story, this series is still just as captivating and epic and well made. Easily one of my favorite things to watch!
THERE IS HALO THE GAME.... AND THEN THERE IS WHATEVER THE FUCK THIS IS... Apparently just having Master Chief in the story line 33% of the time qualifies it as Halo. Pablo aka the guy who plays Master Chief is just about the only decent actor in this entire series. This show ranks up there Obi Wan for let downs.

OMG the love story between the blonde and Master Chief is just soooo lame.... She is a terrible actress. WTF IS UP WITH THAT HAIRCUT? Halo continues to be a huge let down to those who played the game.
The new Cortana is still arguably worse then the one in the previous season... She must be the daugther/sister of someone important in Hollywood.

Halsey and Miranda are supposedly these science genius' yet they are taking lessons from Kwan. God I hate the writers of this show.
Halsey, Miranda and Kwan aka "Halo's Angels" (Charlies Angels jab). However at least the Charlies Angels were fun to look at. DUDE... Halsey is supposedly some genius yet she stands on the bridge and almost dies from amazement. Again, fuck you writers....
The only reason i gave this show a shot is because of the game which it bares no resemblance to. There is no reason to continue watching it besides the fact that I am this many episodes in. That is the only reason I continue to watch. The story line, plot, actors/actress, CGI and most everything else about this show completely sucks ass!
I know now that the producers, actors, director, camera guys, etc never played the game Halo and just read the synopsis on the back of the game box. And we have this PoS Halo because of it. Next time play the game, ask the ones who loved the game what they want to see in the show and fuck all those who haven't played the game... STOP CATERING TO EVERYONE HOLLYWOOD!

I played all the Halo games in my youth. To be frank, I always wondered how you could make a show off a game like this.
I remember when they made the doom movie and how poorly it was received. I was truly worried about this one.
My worries and concerns have been relieved. The way the characters are developed makes so much sense, as in Halo Chief was the man, especially with me playing. For them to introduce that he has layers and why people depended on him is significant. I just hate waiting for the next episode. I could totally run through a season in one sitting.
Everyone is just saying random shit and then "puzzle solved!" I don't know if I should laugh or cry :sob:
I'm not that enthralled. Alot happened. Not alot I care about. I think I'm hung up on it not following the game story. Letting it stand on it's own though, this show is kind of ass. Like, ppl talking about this extra sh*t about the ring is done in a boring way. I don't care about Soren's kid, it was dumb already that the subplot exists, cause Kwan stupidly got him lost. Chief going rogue is annoying. Halo should involve him being more of a soldier, and he keeps going out of line, like some secret agent renegade plot from the early 2000s. Seriously though, in the game, 90% of Halo is chief being a badass soldier, and that's lost here. I can't call this Halo. I don't know anymore. Also, the spike is dumb. It destroys how much!? Like it creates a blast big enough to destroy a Halo, what a dumb f- I don't even know. And Arbiter is seriously under-characterized.
More “Uhhs!” and “Ahhs!”, with everything glossed over with SFX and impressive music to make it seem important. But where are the material assets? Give us something that we can eventually understand, instead of adding one mystery after another without any explanation. Many people say how great this all is, but give no explanation as to why.
I almost burst out laughing when the simple fact that the artifact Miranda had taken from the cave opened was portrayed as if she had discovered a god or something.
I really wonder if the writers have any idea where this is going.

No, i havent played the game and it is more frustrating reading comments about people meanish over this is not part of the game. The same think happened with last of us and with resident evil which was a great show but ruined by bashing it from people who said "this has nothing to do with the game"

Why is everyone giving themselves The Mark of Shame? Who did they think they were even doing that for? Anyone who has never played the games isn't even going to understand the significance of the symbol or the act. The Arbiter and Makee branding themselves with The Mark of Shame is just cross eyed.
Not to mention the symbol is much more powerful in the games. As The Arbiter fails to stop Master Chief from destroying Halo he is disgraced and given The Mark of Shame. These are iconic characters and moments, how can you reduce them to a 3 second shot that nobody even understood?
A lot of other changes didn't bother me. Master Chief removing the helmet didn't even bug me as much as some of the sweaty nerds that were raging for personal reasons. This is a joke though right? Now you're just trying to get a negative reaction from fans.
I'm rather confused, there's a lot going on right now. I hope the next episode clears things up as it's the last episode!
