idk why but it feels like we're going into a some doctor (Weber? Bailey? Ellis?) at Grey Sloan's accidently killed Simone's mother and honestly?? I'm liiiiiving for it.
On the other hand second episode in a row that we dont see a shadow of Meredith (aside from her gooooorge voice) and again... honestly? I didnt missed her as much as I thought I would, the whole narrative of the episode felt light n cohesive, hope the show keeps like that, so we can have more 20 seasons of it, I'm all in for it.
the last scene with bailey comforting simone was so touching and sweet. and well acted on both their parts. makes me miss the more the emotionally resonant and heartfelt storylines and relationships.

I have to get this off my chest somewhere: Lucas has to be one of the most insufferable characters to ever be on the show. The actor does him no favors with the fucking face he constantly has on and the way he delivers lines like he's dead inside. And when he does have emotional moments, I just feel like punching him in the face. I can't stand Lucas, for real. I care nothing about what's going on with him. Don't even get me started on Simone. They deserve each other, they're so annoying.
