The whole award storyline happened so fast. I still don't get how Meredith won, tbh. It seemed out of place because what she did did not seem as big or innovative as what Cristina did, but also because we were told no one from an Avery hospital would ever win and there was never any attempt to explain why it's suddenly okay. Cristina was ROBBED.
This episode took me WAY back. Loved it so much. Greys always knows how to celebrate its milestones properly.
No other show can break my heart like this and make me weep so much. This was very emotional episode. Congratulations Grey's on your 300th episode. I hope there will be many more to come.
The nostalgic touches were nice, but the huge plot hole that Avery hospital doctors can't get an Avery award (and an Avery accepting the award on her behalf was reeking of favoritism) before and now that's not even addressed after being such a long drama for Cristina - that's really ruined it for me.
On the plus side, I'm finally beginning to like Jo.
I could point out minor setbacks like Addison falling into oblivion or the fact that they rushed Meredith’s nomination for the Harper Avery in two episodes, compared to the whole plot around Cristina’s... but I’m over the moon right now!
Beautiful homage to the show, fulfilled with so many - soooo many - references. I’m glad they took the time to remember carefully each character and brought back that feeling from the earlier seasons.
dang! this episode made me miss the old cast even more.. the old cast are definitely irreplaceable.

A nice nod of an episode to all that has come before. Sprinkled with things I really don't give a shit about. Like new interns and ex gf drama.
