There's sustainable palm oil, if it is something you're worried about research on a company by company basis to find out if they use sustainable palm oil. Obviously sustainable palm oil isn't perfect but it's significantly better than non-sustainable. GMOs and parabens aren't even proven to be bad either, it's all myths and panic.
Also if that was actual blood then I'm fairly certain it'd be assault to touch people with it since it's a biohazard.
