Not sure what I think of Mrs Devine yet; it's probably the right decision to go in a completely different direction rather than draft in a pale imitation. It's a good they managed to bring back Inspector Sullivan, as a familiar face helps smooth over the significant loss of Bunty, Inspector Mallory, and in particular Mrs McCarthy. Hopefully they'll all return at a later date in a guest-star capacity.
