5x04 Insolubilia

Almost halfway through the season, and the past story teasing starts to feel a little tired when the current narrative get a bit stalled down as well. Still very entertaining though, with the opening house attack such a good suspense sequence. I also can't get enough of Jennifer Jason Leigh "Snickers for breakfast? Are we on welfare?"

Filler episode in "Home alone" style. Half way thru the season and it seems that the writing quality is not as good as previous years.

I was hoping for more brutality from Dorothy. Hopefully sooner than later.

Sooooo.... I guess they somehow mixed up a lot of the script's pages with pages from a season of American Horror Stories? And instead of taking the pages put the just thought "f it, let's give it a shot"?

• The Kevin alone at home part is entertaining
• Munch is half dimwit and 50% philosopher: "the freedom of want was meant for kings. But now, everywhere you look, there are kings."
• Lorraine and Roy scare me. A lot.

The season is dragging and not as good as previous seasons. Maybe it’s time to put the show to sleep and end it.
