While I know it is humor and the whole show is a tongue in cheek look at an extremist religious groups (aka - cults), that scene between the daughter and the head of the church - where he abuses his power and control to manipulate her - is just a reminder of why I had distain for Christian beliefs and dogma.
The season started on a highly amusing high note - the practice run for the upcoming apocalypse - and ended with child having to give up her dreams, all to make her family happy and to follow the heavy-handed wishes of the church.

It's great that the little boy has found what appears to be his place, that the girl has been able to appy to uni and that the parents are now accepting of their childens places as well as their own. Great character development, but this was not as funny as I was hoping.
