Seeing Nate finally get put in his place instead of people cowering to him made the wait worth it.
Those mfs really got the social worker lady from Marriage Story to play a kingpin, I didn't see that one coming. Also Maude Apatow had more screentime in one episode than she had in the whole last season, so that's great as well!
This was actually a perfect episode, from start to finish. And I'm not even trying to be hyperbolic in any way. From it being a Fez centred episode, starting with a flashback to when his grandmother was running shit, to that ending. Now that sparked a wave of euphoria.
I can't think of a single thing I would change.

Every time, any time, the camera is in the car I'm always anxious about a car collision. And the both of them were extremely suss. But Cassie's, I mean Sydney Sweeney's acting in the bathtub was amazing, I could really feel the fear and the yuck she was going through. Other than that, the Fezco situation was great. Fez, Rue, and Cassie continue to be my favorite characters in the show. And I love that this season was taken with Kodak Ektachrome.
yea this is the best show on television right now
Not as shiny as say the series premiere or the two specials, but Euphoria does what it does best. For some reason I feel like Sam Levinson may turn into the next Sam Esmail or Nic Pizzolatto, someone who showed a lot of potential with an amazing first season of TV but had no idea how to keep viewers invested. I'm getting those vibes with certain story beats. Either ways, the visuals and the performances are still at the top of their game.

I waited two years looking for this season 2 release, and now here I am. This is an amazing show.

So happy season 2 is finally here! The show immediately returns to top quality drama. Can't wait for the next episode.

Speaking of Fez, him and Lexi could be so cute; I feel like they’re always there for the people in their lives, but they don’t get the same love back from them. Maybe they could give that to each other <3

I really like the Fezco back story. Even if his manner of speaking irks me with the 'gangster style' I loved seeing where he came from and how badass his grandma was.
Best of all seeing him beat the shit out of Nate. I don't like to celebrate that kind of thing but if a character ever had it coming, it's that guy!
Also clocked the third reference to Sailor Moon on this show. This time by the disgustingly plump lipped chick at the start and her shirt. Someone on the staff likes that show (and so they should)

For the first time I’ll be that annoying person who’s announcing their departure. After this episode I cannot comprehend that I finished season 1 (although I must admit I wanted to follow the latest trends back then). Hell, I’m 22 now and I couldn’t handle the disgust I felt. No Euphoria for me anymore.
