Tries to be overly complicated. Which makes it a MEH.
Really disappointed with how it ended. Having Imogene's whole motivation to find her mother's killer, only to find out it was faked by her mother, who turned into an evil murderer herself all while ignoring her child for 18 years so she could take revenge for something that never actually affected her personally?? Then Imogene turning on her.. the whole thing was just a mess with most of the twists and turns being written in for convenience. Still watched to the end as the production itself was beautiful, the set pieces were stunning, cinematography was on point, it was well acted but overall missed the mark for me.
Total crap. Lasted 10 minutes.
I enjoyed the story's first half and the way it was shot, edited, and acted. However, there were definitely some pacing issues, and I did not find the conclusion satisfying at all. If you're looking for a quick piece of media to distract yourself with, look no further, but do not go into this expecting a master piece.
The main character's voice is like hearing a chalk scratch a board. It's really off putting.
I admit I didn't realize this was still ongoing when I started watching, but so far, I'm having a lot of fun with the show. Is it the best-written show ever? Nope. Is it still really entertaining, with lots of colorful characters and a story that can go anywhere at this point? Yeah!

it drives me crazy. the violin part of the theme is stolen from somewhere else...film or tv show. please help!

Fun but not as engrossing as Only Murders. If you find the show started out a bit slow, stick it out to the end. It's worth it.

This is a TV show version of "Knives Out (2019)". And it's pretty good. Soo many twists. I didn't even see the Viktor Sams reveal coming.

Damn Tobby steals $3 billion and Tripp doesn’t do shit. I would’ve straight up murdered that god fucker.
I enjoyed the season. It did keep me in suspense and we still don't know "who done it". No idea of what will happen after they solve the murder. Would like to see the detective story continue on with future mysteries.
Is it dragging at parts? Yes. But does it have its charm and got me intrigued from time to time? Also yes.
Mid way I liked how fleshed the characters ended up being. They all look and behave differently and I enjoy the slow pace in spite of some moments dragging down a notch. It's not one of my all time favorites, but it's a pleasant watch.
I really wanted to like this, Mandy Patinkin alone was enough of a draw, but add Linda Emond, Danny Johnson and Jere Burns and this looked like it had a real chance. It seems like they are trying to create a modern Agatha Christie novel, and it was clever with lot's of twists and turns.... but it was ssslllloooowww, and dull with too much dramatics at time.
I will complete this show (written DURING the viewing of episode 8), and it is worth a watch; I just find this too artsy, with the feeling of trying too hard.

It's really boring, plot moves at a glacial pace with a lot of filler in every single episode. I watched 5 episodes, and don't really care who did it at this point.
