This one just ain't giving for me...
looks like an interesting season
Solid re-start, somehow even darker than before, but with no Reed, this will be a hard sell.
THEY'RE BACK! YES!
I can't express how thrilled I am to see these people again and what a way to kick it off! I have high hopes for the reboot. One big bad unsub while still maintaining that one episode story is gonna be great. I hope they maintain it.
For a moment I was worried Reid had died. I wonder how they'll explain his absence. I hate seeing Rossi so worn out and stressed when we left him so happy with Krystall three years ago :(
I've always liked this team, but in the later seasons they concentrated too much on the depravities of the unsubs instead of telling the story of how to find them (like they did in the earlier seasons). Of course, this first episode spent a lot of time in catching us up on where the characters are right now, so the focus was on them. But I enjoyed this so far. I hope, though, if this gets a second season that Reid'll return. He's always been the heart of this show after all, so I miss him here.
I'm excited. This was my favorite show for a long time and I missed it. So far, great start.
A good comeback but I will always miss Reid. I think it's good for him to come back.

reid's absence is a bummer, but paget brewster spoke on that and said some really important stuff. if you're a fan of the show and the character, learning why the actor probably isn't going to return might make it much easier to enjoy the show without him, so i recommend looking that up between the two episodes of the premiere!
plus—fifteen years of reid's life unfolded on television. if any character arc has been done well, it's his.
either way, this season feels really good. being paramount+ it gets to be darker, and i like how everyone's acting is dialed up and the directorial decisions are solid. also rossi gets to say "shit" a bunch.
