Got damn! This was without doubt, the best episode this season (so far). That was just EXCELLENT. Spot-on! And again, what a twist. I certainly expected Mr Scratch to be somehow involved in this ever since the description for the last episode literally said "Derek Morgan comes back with a lead to catch Mr Scratch" but I needed a twist and last week I got it.
I knew it! I knew it had to be Kat Adams somehow but hot damn, last week my expectations were totally subverted. And now my mind just blew. so not only Lindley but also Kat Adams? I kind of expected her to be the one who framed Reid and when I found out it was Lindsey I was totally in shock because you simply don't expect a character from season 3 to re-appear again and to be the one to blame for Reid torments. I guess everyone has mommy or daddy problems. Now I have more questions than ever! How could she orchestrate all of that behind the bars? how did she contact Lindsey? how did she know her story with Reid? And why Lindley to be her killer hand outside the prison? and how the hell did she film a video on an ipad? I've got way too many questions at this point. How the hell did she know about Scratch? Maybe it's the lawyer.
That scene when Reid gets out of jail and gets reunited with Garcia was absolutely beautiful. And now I'm just even more worried about Reid, especially for his psyche. I mean, these things leave a mark and his long stay in prison did. That scene back at the BAU when he just stayed there and couldn't open the door for himself got me so worried. I'm certainly surprised JJ didn't look more worried. I'm so scared for the season finale. Who am I kidding? I'm terrified. if something happens to Reid, if he dies or leaves the team and if consequently Garcia makes that letter of resignation real I'm done. Morgan's already gone and it socks but I need to see that tech chair filled and I need my precious baby Reid to overcome this. I don't know if I'll be able to keep watching if Garcia leaves
It was good to see the team FINALLY working Reid’s case, because I really found it frustrating how little they did that the last episodes.
Also, I was happy to see that Reid actually started to use his brain again this episode, and I hope he won’t loose that ability again.
P.S. Luke was an absolute badass. He might actually be my favourite right now!? I mean, he hardly even knows Reid, but he was somehow the person who has done the most to help him.
And yet another episode ruined by the Reid bullshit. Just leave him out of the show or bring him back instead of this crap.
I'm wondering if the writers were asleep the entire season (or maybe they were spinning wheels after Gibson got fired) but they finally have started writing our beloved characters back into character! Love Reid finally becoming a behavioral analyst again after forgetting that right along with forgetting who killed the doctor. And what's with pulling two forgotten characters back with daddy issues? Nice twist though either way. As for the whole "Scratch" thing...I really miss the days when they adamantly refused to call the killers by the media names and only referred to them as "unsub" or their actual given name. (or maybe it's just because I think Scratch is the dumbest name ever but I digress...) sigh All for sensationalism right? (rolls eyes)
Quite the twist! A really great episode! And it's nice to finally see Reid out of prison. I also liked that Luke carry on his promised and took everything from Shaw
Talk about trauma upon trauma. I think it's safe to say Reid is the Danielle Steel novel of this show. It's never ending torment for poor Reid.
He was forced to be an addict, anytime someone is to be captured and beaten it's usually him, he keeps losing integral people in his life, got his love interest killed in front of him, his mother is going senile and now prison... goodness! Can you guys leave Reid alone now! I don't know how much more I can take! lol

Now I'm really curious about how the Scratch's storyline is going to be wrapped up. if it just ends in the finale I'm going to be a bit disappointed. it would certainly seem rushed. so maybe they leave it open for season 13, don't you think? Plus, I wonder what will happen when Scratch finds out Kat has been impersonating him all this time. I would like him to take some kind of offense against her for doing that. that would be awesome to be honest.
And this is, at least, the second time Luke has threatened someone to protect his team. That scene at the prison with Michael from Lost (I don't remember his name) was perfect. Transferring him to another prison where he'll get what he deserves was just beautiful. Bless you Luke Alvez!
I'm so hyped for the season's finale now. I hope Reid gets his mom back safe and sound so that he could get some closure. Payback and justice is all I ask for his character. He truly deserves some happiness. he's suffered way too much. I just hope the team stays intact after that. I certainly would stand another loss. Morgan's leave was painful and the finale doesn't look so well for Reade.
