1x04 Just Let Go

that ending scene of chucky giving the finger to the three kids absolutely killed me.

In this episode, all the characters do a complete 180. Kinda lame, but the story is still interesting.

Lexy, who was in the room where the fire started, is completely unscathed with 0 signs of having been in a struggle with a doll that almost successfully strangled her. What. Oh also, she goes from being prissy princess can-do-no-wrong the world-revolves-around-me, to being tolerable at the drop of a hat.

Jake goes from wanting to kill Lexy and practicing on a sculpture with enthusiasm, to teaming up with Lexy. His reluctance to killing her got ratcheted up to 1000 and he completely goes against Chucky.

Junior and Devon got some good character development, I think. The interactions between Jake and Devon are good, and I can see that taking off. It looks like Junior's story is about to blossom too, but something tells me the interaction with his dad asking him about liking cross-country was a one time deal that won't be explored.

Besides that, this episode destroyed character continuity for a little extra unpredictability. Now the story is not very deep, and quite predictable. It's still entertaining, however, but maybe that's par for the course.

Yah i dont.. ah... i dont think that's how transmissible diseases work, Chucky. Maybe if you injected him with, like, chlorox or a weak acid? But even then...

As for Jake... him instantly flipping on Chucky and deciding to save Lexy is boring. It doesn't make him seem redeemed, it just makes him seem weak and easily led. Like he just listens to whoever talked to him last.

Pretty good ending shot. Def more fun than the last episode overall.
