So what really gets to me is that Zack being Gormogon's apprentice apparently was a creative decision and had nothing to do with the actor, yet this entire plot point gets squished into this last episode which feels so incredibly rushed it's not even funny. Booth being shot in the previous episode quickly gets pushed away as if it were nothing, even though they made such a big deal out of it in the previous episode - for good reason, a main character just got SHOT. Meanwhile Gormogon, you know, that guy that was built up for several episodes over an entire season, was just some unimportant nobody that quickly got eliminated and had no more impact than any other serial killer. We didn't even get to hear the man speak for crying out loud. All of this just for the drama of one of the Squints being a baddy, and as if that weren't a bad decision in the first place, they chose Zack. The overly rational thinking guy became the apprentice of a cannibal, oh yes, how truly rational that is. "But he didn't eat anyone" YET. He didn't eat anyone YET. He was Gormogon's apprentice, not his killy stabby assistant. Man this entire plot point makes no sense at all.
This episode bugs me. None of their explanations made me think, "ooh, that's why...". And the first 5 minutes never sat well with me either.
It's 2:34 am and I cried watching Zack going through all of that. I never saw it coming. Seeing that it's the only season with 15 episodes, I assumed that something was not right compared to the other seasons that have more than 20 episodes. I don't know why they had to rush this season, but I can see why would a person like Zach do that. It's like they say, sometimes people have no remorse manipulating and making others do what they want. And Zach, he was an angel... anyone could easily do that to him. Of course, it had to be someone with a great sense of logic, but Zach was so naive and innocent... I loved his character and, even some people don't really like this end of season, I think I was really nice. He should have been protected, he was a precious little guy. I would love to know more about the real cannibal and murderer. I wish this season had, at least, one more episode to tell us how this guys started everything.
Nope. This still doesn't make any sense...
Yes, for once the writers got rid of the right person. That jerk Zack was the most annoying person on the show.
Booth and Bones asking what Dr Sweets was doing.... "Yeah, I ran to call 911, and then went back. Where? In electrical, I had a task there and then I went to comms..." :joy:
Also, what a lame way to get rid of Zach. Come on... just kill him in an expolosion, throw him off an elevator shaft, or something.

This episode made me mad. I've watched it several times, but I never saw it coming, and I still get that sense of shock every time I watch it.
