[7.9/10] Another really fun episode. Bob, Tina, and Louise at a soccer game made for a nice setting, especially with the setup that neither Bob nor Louise wanted to be there (preferring to go home and watch an American Gladiators-esque show instead). Louise’s change of heart, from wanting to get the hell out, to wanting to not get “shut outted” for the sake of the other girls was predictable, but still well done. Like most of Bob’s, it’s a very measured victory, with the girls managing to score a single goal to the other team’s implosion, but it works! Plus, Tina as the eager assistant coach had a lot of comic mileage.

The B-story was fun too. It features Linda and Gene trying to start a piano bar in the restaurant, and inadvertently getting involved in a local community theater feud (naturally). The jabs back and forth between Mrs. Merkin and her (surprise) sister over the local production of “TSA: The Musical” were entertaining, and Teddy’s crush was strange but adorable. Plus the songs were fun too!

Overall, tons of trademark Bob’s fun in this one.

Louise playing soccer...perfect! I love it when her sarcastic little heart melts and she does things for others. Tina as assistant coach was hilarious too!
