After a year waiting, finished it in less than a day... Welp...
The British episodes are so much better than the American ones.
They pour a lot of money into production but the story is banal and dull.
These eps are simple. Just people. and they really disturb you.

I don't think metalhead was bad, it just didn't feel like black mirror. On it own would be a good 50min standalone thing imo. From all the seasons released I think this was the weakest one.
Half of the season is really great, the other half is kind of boring.
Below (Black Mirror) average season.

By far my favorite episode to date. This one is irony at its best, starts off with the mother looking for a physically lost Sarah, which is clearly her fault she is lost. Ends with the mother looking for a metaphorically lost Sarah, that she lost because of her own fault, freaking awesome. Str8 up Twilight Zone, this is an instantly classic episode.
Overall, the weakest season of "Black Mirror" so far. "USS Callister" is awesome and "Hang the DJ" has its moments, but the rest is pretty forgettable. The last episode, "Black Museum," is just downright mean-spirited.
Okay, the first half of season 4 was utter shit, but it got markedly better (and better) with the later episodes. Starting with episode 4 (Hang the DJ) which was at least "not shitty"/somewhat entertaining, and moving on to a familiarly dystopian / desperate episode 5 it was the last episode that brought back the greatness I associated with Black Mirror (that I felt was entirely lacking in the first half). So… next time, I'd rather have 3 episodes per season again, but make it 3 good ones. Please.
The season was not bad, but I don't like the "shared universe" idea that much. It was fine when it was more of an easter egg. Also I think they shouldn't focus on technology so much .

The weakest season, although I still gave it 7 on here like the other three. It lacks the sheer consistency of 1, the first hopeful/brutal double doses of 2 ("Be Right Back" and "White Bear"), and the first variation in tones and creative inputs of 3 (even though that leads to some outright clunkers more than usual, although "San Junipero" easily makes up for that). I feel like 4 even mimics the structure of 3 quite a bit, what with first episode's "now for something different", the absolute downer of third ep before the love story of fourth, and ending with playful genre mix, with detective noir last season and goofy anthology here. This season was tough for me to rate as the previous seasons has some of the most brilliantly disturbing piece of television i have ever seen, the bottom half of my list didn't even come close to the impact given by the last season's episodes: Playtest & Nosedive. Overall it was entertaining and I can't wait to see more.
in my opinion its gone downhill since last season. not as good story telling
might look better in parts but its lost something. really liked this show sadly

Overall I thought the season was not as great as the last Netflix season but still very well done. Some episodes felt a little similar like Arkangel and The Entire History of You. And metalhead felt like a total filler episode, nothing special about that one.
