This season is the best example of how vets in the game can create amazing television. Compared to Season 13 vets, these vets were here to play the game and compete and weren't painfully annoying along the way. Not only did the vets help make this season like in 13, but the remainder of the cast was rather impressive throughout as well. Frank the tank was arguably the greatest comp beast in the history of Big Brother (Yes, better than Janelle who was also in this season). Not to mention he became an honorary member of Chilltown (the most enjoyable alliance ever) with Mike Boogie. Ian came to play EARLY and even was given nods from legends Dr. Will and the Brigade early in the season. His strategic mindset didn't let up throughout. One could say it was the best since...Dan (who was also in this season). Speaking of Dan, let's talk about The Funeral. Best game move EVER in Big Brother. It resulted in the demise of Brittany (who was previously kicked out in epic fashion back in BB12). Then Dan blindsides Danielle & Shane AGAIN at final four and makes Danielle ball AGAIN. The mental warfare he put this girl through was unreal. Yes, everyone that appreciates the game thinks Dan should have been the first ever two time winner of Big Brother, and the bitter jury sucks, but come on, the winner was incredibly deserving. There was multiple people that could have won this season and been deserving. The only slight knock on this season is that we all know it was a plan all along to have the four returnees get into the game. The "Coach" thing was never going to last and was more or less a cover up to get the vets a month into the game without a target on their back. Regardless, this season is about as good as it gets without being perfect. Game play was sky high throughout the cast. Dan pulled off some of the greatest feats in the history of the game. The drama was high. If Shane & Danielle was the biggest showmance the season saw then that's amazing as well. This style of game is just different than it is nowadays. This is a must see season!
