This episode is so powerful. It's only when one sees visuals such as this, do you realise the gravity of what happened. Terrible genocide......
In my opinion, the best episode in the series.
Most digusting thing I have ever seen in any show. My mind cannot comprehend how there could be so much hate in the world.
Well, what can I say about this episode. I know this show is about war, & up until now we have witnessed death & serious injuries, but this episode hits SO hard.
I cannot fathom how anyone can do this. seriously.
One of the most powerful moments in TV History. I cried watching this. And the pictures here are but a tip of a massive iceberg.
This episode hits so hard !
Will never forget this episode...
While I love this episode and appreciate the fact that they needed to give the discovery of the camp as much gravity as possible... initially I was sort of taken aback by the ignorance of Easy Company as to the existence of concentration camps. At the very least they must have heard rumours about what would come to be known as the Holocaust. Certainly it was common knowledge in the United States that there were concentration camps set up by the Nazis (even widespread reports in late 1942 of extermination camps), but it is a historical fact that many people didn't believe that it was as bad as it was, they couldn't imagine what was actually going on. Most of the worst stories were treated with skepticism by the American public, as rumours mostly. So, whether or not Easy Company believed what they may have heard is another matter entirely, but Liebgot having to ask what exactly the place was is what I find hard to believe. These soldiers aren't dumb, it's not hard to put 2 and 2 together after coming across a place like that. A slight oversight, historically speaking, in an otherwise impeccable episode, and a masterpiece of a show.
Let something like that never happen again.
Powerful imagery with the concentration camp, and apt critique on the pillaging "liberators", but the episode was somewhat lacking in character drama compared to the previous ones.

This episode is fucked up. The atrocities of war. Really hits you hard seeing the scene with the concentration camp.
