Only two things I liked:
The rest is mediocre. Perhaps better than all previous episodes because it had some of the old silly SATC vibe.
Compared to the previous episodes this one is nice but not more than that and it's worrying how much of it is already mid season.
The first episode of AJLT season 1 and season 2 that's not awful to watch. Bearable.
-“I will take you to THE place to meet single men.” - “A Marvel movie?”
Did I just watch a solidly decent (dare I say good) episode of this show? The pacing felt amazing - just like the old SATC - Charlotte/Harry and the Americans allusion, Carrie crawling away from that bed - the storylines didn’t feel forced.
"I've come as the comic disaster that is my life" - finally some self awareness from Miranda
Seema and the vibrator is giving Sam and Small Penis James in a way that isn’t remotely subtle.
Che’s such an unlikeable character. Very self-absorbed. Che and Miranda have nothing in common, they are completely mismatched lifestyle wise. The new Miranda apologizes a lot! I hate how weak and apologetic she is. Cynthia needs to take her personal life out of the show. Also, Miranda has to leave Che’s to wake Brady up? He’s an adult. SATC Miranda would never, The writers have destroyed Miranda's fierce character.
Is there a shortage of actors in the US? First, Justin Theroux appeared as two different characters in SATC. Then, William Abadie in SATC and AJLT and now Peter Hermann?
meh, how Carrie left during Paul's heartfelt apology and then George's apartment is "not cool". I get it, the showrunners want to present a carefree Carrie that is not looking for anything serious, but come on, those men did nothing wrong and she could have just waited 2 days really.
Miranda's voice when she was trying to comfort Che went right through me. She's become so shrill and annoying. I had hoped this season would bring her character back on track but it's still a shadow of its former self. Her and Che's plot continues to be the most annoying part of the show.
Also I was really hoping to see a scene where Carrie types dictated Python even though I know it would have been BS tv coding.
Imagine saying "Jack Sparrow" and "hot" in the same sentence
This was a good episode. I loved the meta commentary on Che. I actually felt bad for them.

Look, we were all thinking it. Che sucks.
