what was that fucking stand up

So with Carrie now single and back in her old apartment, we’ve come full circle.

This show is trying so hard to be woke, that it’s making me lose interest. I miss the old Sex and the city.

Some things never change, like how unlikable and selfish Carrie is. Thankfully there are other interesting characters on this show.

They’re definitely trying really hard to be woke

That stand up was.. Something. Bit long and shouty for my tastes. At least its all out in one blast and done with though.
They've been building up the Miranda drinking since ep 1 where she went for a glass of wine before her first class. Glad Charlotte has noticed.

As for the feeling like your partner is your roommate... That was all too real for me. I've just ended a long long term relationship which became just that. I'm chasing my change now and excited for the future.

Seriously? I know landlines are ancient history... but you would recognise your own bloody number FFS

Feels like they learned from the Foster spinoff Good Trouble how to handle certain "woke" issues. That's a good thing; I like Good Trouble a lot.

Interestingly, most people or maybe a lot of critics seem to feel the exact reverse!! That they bungled this up and did not age well.

Who, when not finding a mobile phone charger, goes to look for one in jacket pockets?

I was happy to see Natasha again. Still pretty in white. Still totally unimportant to the show. And I'm still interested in Anthony. Can't we have a show about him? Instead we need to listen to a comedy show that is totally not funny and which is presumably just in the show to "check some boxes" (as the sign behind her frankly admits). They better tell a nice and credible story with Che. Let's see.

Plus, I really don't understand why the old Miranda (witty, self-secure, sarcastic, down to earth, straight AF, intelligent, kick ass professional) is so different to the new Miranda.
