For me, a below-average show saved by two matches.
Strickland and Allin had a great match to open the show, including a poisonrana to the outside that was SO unnecessary, but an insanely cool visual. Strickland took his shoe off towards the end, making this the third night of wrestling in a row where someone removed their footwear. That's gotta be a record.
The Orange Cassidy and Buddy Matthews match was so much better than I expected. I feel like I've said that way too many times lately for an Orange Cassidy match, and should just raise my general opinion of his work to a higher bar from now on. He's on fire. I also like that we actually have multiple trios feuds going on at once right now.
I really don't get the Hobbs and Wardlow feud, because both of these guys have suffered from way too many stunted pushes already. I feel like a loss for either is a loss for the company.
Is anyone else SO OVER Jeff Hardy at this point? Like, we're really doing this again? I do have to admit he's in great shape though.
