Haha, of course Gary shows back up, just like I said. God, none of this makes any fucking sense. Kim being stupid as shit once again - why the hell wouldn't you call the police?! Calling Jack instead was an incredibly dumb idea; there's no guarantee he will be available, and Gary was very much not dealt with at that point. And why wouldn't Jack tell her to call the police?? There's a dead officer outside! They will care! It makes zero fucking sense to involve Kate in this!! It's nothing but an excuse to tie these lame stories together.
This whole escapade highlights just how pointless Kim's story has been this season. They were already grasping at straws for things for her to do, and it's only S2.
At least Gary's dead. One small thing right.
