A superb twist on the maternity front, including how you-know-who became "Marion," which made perfect sense in that context while changing everything that we thought that we knew about Cole and his destiny. Next week's final two hours should be terrific.

Cant even put into words how amazing this final season has been so far. Astonishing.
Ho-ly-shit... They start the plague... They have to... Wow. And Hannah being James' mum? Wow, that's so good. The many twists in this show have been handled really well. Wow, just wow. And Katerina is his grandmother, wow. They always had that kind of bond, and i did think about the possibility once for like a few seconds, but i didn't expect this, i thought Emma was his mum. Wow, they got me. Wow, this was such a good episode, and heartfelt. Wow. I just wanted more at the end though, more dialogue or a hug between James and his mum. Wow... Imagine rewatching this show and knowing how the characters are related to each other. Wow, i wonder how long some of the twists have been planned.
Things are drawing to a close. There's 2 episodes left but it's one long episode. I kinda don't want the show to end now, i've grown attached to the characters and the plot.
But all good things...
We've gone through so many casualities now. And Katerina is going to die from the radiation. I wonder what's going to happen in the end? Is everything going to be reset, and the 7 billion people become alive again? Or will it all end in uncertainty and bittersweet, like the movie it's based on. Will they defeat the enemy but the plague still happens and the future goes on? Will the Cole and Cassy we know survive? I wonder what's going to happen.
These last episodes have been so good, I hope the last two will be as well, there's one thing that I never thought would happen with this show but by the end it made me cry. I think this episode and its themes show the reasons behind many of the decisions we have questioned as viewers and somehow things make a bit more sense now.
Not the most clever of twists but I'm glad they stayed consistent with the underlying theme of creating the problems they set out to solve.
