Tower Heist was a solid good (not great) entertaining film. It could have been better, but wasn't. I wasn't expecting this to be top of the line awesome. It's kind of like Ocean's 11 but with slightly more comedy and a weaker clever story line. It was great seeing Eddie Murphy not in a kid's film and sharing screen time with Ben Stiller, and Matthew Broderick with Casey Affleck.

I don't know why this didn't get more attention when it came out, but it is a pretty good heist/comedy film! I remember thinking it was cool to get Eddie Murphy back in something that wasn't animated or for children at the time, and the performances were good overall.
it was a nice comedy heist movie. I like Ben Stillers comedy style - especially the moral behind the movie.
one reviewer is right: You can also watch it, while you do somthin else. But the movie didn't deserve it.

I had fun with this movie, especially Eddy Murphy was a lot of fun. I thought the story was good and the heist was smart but the movie never got better than average for me.
I wish there were more movies like this... It's a 7/10 but it's enjoyable throughout.
It's genre is a dying breed.
It was a great cast, pretty good plot with a couple cute twists. Just missing something which might have been the music, way too cliche and the exact same over and over and over.

With such a great cast, I expect it to be a bit better and/or funnier. Is it a good heist movie? Sure. But it doesn’t little to truly stand out in the genre.

I absolutely love Gabourey Sidibe in this. She and Eddie Murphy together are hysterical.
Gotta appreciate how beefy that passenger elevator is. There is a car and 9 people and no alarm. Impressive.
It won't go down as a classic, but it was funny plenty of times to keep you interested, and the story was entertaining. 7.5/10

I stopped watching it once they picked up Eddie Murphy. Maybe someday I will get around to watching it again. Took way too long to get going.

I actually liked the movie, I have a fear of heights and just when the movie was starting to drag, it got me to the edge of my seat. Not a favorite but I don't think it was a horrible movie either.
