This Is Me…Now 2024

I genuinely do not know what to think. The only talent I really saw in this was the production in some of the animations. Imagine having so much money, power, and fame that you're able to create your own movie, and this is what you make. It's a cool message, and you learn a bit about JLo, but it's unbearable. I feel like the realest thing I saw was Ben Afflecks' nose. So yeah, it's a hit if you're a JLo fan. If not, then tough. The same goes for the new music. It's a hit if you're a fan. If not, then tough.

I genuinely wanted to like it.
I feel bad that she used her own money and this was the product of all that money and effort.
There were some stand out moments here and there but it was all over the place and lacking any cohesion and flow.
I really liked the group therapy scene. The song, choreography and theatricality of that scene was really well done. It made me want to buy that one song. The glass apartment building scene was pretty cool. The multiple weddings scene was funny and I loved any time the Zodiac Counsel was on screen.
The problem is that for something of that length, having a few stand out moments that you like, only counts for so much if it’s disjointed and has no flow and no unifying style.
It felt like every section was written and directed by a different person and some of it was pretty bad. That fake “Singing in the Rain” section, made me feel second hand embarrassment for her.
I really wanted to like it. I really wanted to be a huge fan but it fell flat for me.

Strictly for fans of J Lo only. The opening song felt like a musical until the people in Hazmat suite started dancing as well

It has entertaining background characters, dance numbers, and situations. It's like a dream world where Jennifer exposes herself as addicted to love.

There are way more slow ballad songs than expected from her. She comes across as very serious in thinking about her past relationships.

Her strength as an actress shows, and it's nice to know that she is open to doing musicals. This is not a full movie, just a collection of scenes. I hope she does a real musical.
