Was a terrible idea to walk into the theater with high expectations. Disaster of a movie. 4th was awesome. 6th was fun. This was just plain awful.
I have nothing against the occasional "fun, dumb action movie," but this movie is so devoid of any kind of logic it's as if the filmmakers are actively challenging the viewer's tolerance for stupidity.
Um, he killed a military drone with an ambulance. Then went full T-600 Terminator and took a minigun to a chopper. Not to mention Dubai. In all this the most unrealistic scene of the movie was Rousey not pulling an arm bar on Letty. Limbs everywhere, ambar opportunities were rife.
What an amazing movie.
Just saw Furious 7 for the 1st time and even though the action was over the top and unreal it was an amazing movie. Great acting and the final minutes of the movie knowing that Paul Walker is not with us anymore makes it so much more sad..crying like a little baby and not caring
Welcome to the city of Los Angeles, when you can casually fly in a military helicopter and no one gives a fuck.
The end always get me
That Fast & Furious is about a series of bs action sequences is well known, but this one is just bs all over.
Genre should be science fiction
I'm too old for this shit.
This movie is so unrealistic.. Everybody knows that no one stand a chance against Jason Statham.
That ending still got to me a little. It's a nice send off to Paul Walker. The movie is still just as crazy as the last couple. I hate that Hobbs was sidelined for most of the movie. This Shaw is way cooler than the other one.
Fun, over the top action with fast cars. Fast and Furious is no longer a mere racing movie, it's an action movie now, so it should be seen in that light. Action were thrilling and so over the top, almost comical, but that's where the fun lies. Imagine this like Saints Row turned into movie. Particularly love the Dubai scene and almost every scenes with Dwayne Johnson. The jokes are fine but what complements the action is the oddball by Kurt Russell. Well done.
It's unfortunate that in the last 15 minutes of the movie it kinda gets a bit stale and the last action scene isn't that thrilling. But the ending tribute to Paul Walker is emotionally done.
Great because me and my cousin laughed so hard. RIP Paul Walker.
I love people who are reviewing the 7th movie saying it’s ridiculous and boring. They’re all the same, if you didn’t like the last one, why you watching this one?
as the number goes up the physical impossibilities of what they do goes up, the spectacularity in everything also. My father enjoying the saga
R.I.P Paul Walker..Always in our heart man..
Best in the franchise. I do find it humorous that anyone in this movie thinks they could beat Jason Statham. This was the first time I was audibly rooting for the bad guy in a movie because Dude is unstoppable. Really hoping to see him in the next one.
I like the tribute to Paul!! The end with the words from Vin Diesel was really touching!
What a load of rubbish. A car can do some much against bullets and jumping through 50 storey buildings and still get to 0-60 in 3 second.
Please dont say its a film.
There was almost too much action in this movie to enjoy it. It was pretty much one big spectacle after another, with a thin story in between to loosely justify each scene. If you liked FF6, and enjoyed each Transformers movie more than the previous one then this might be your movie.
Kind of fun, mostly ridiculous. 6/10
It was kinda what you would expect from it but than 10 times more over the top. It isn't my cup of tea but still I can appreciate it although I had a hard time with the camera work in the action scenes. They use the 'Michael Bay shot' all the time ( turning the camera 360 degrees around the actor with a lot of stuff in the background ). This needs you to make it all feel really epic, which it does. But is use way to much. The same goes for the shaky cam in action scenes and the cutting to close ups. Fans of those kind of movies will probably adore it, I had a fun time watching it onces but wouldn't watch it again.
You may do not believe it, but it has so much (absolutely incredible) action that in the end it is boring.
Furious 7 takes the old franchise to soaring new heights. Delivering the usual high energy thrills with unexpected and powerful dramatic depth, especially with it's highly respectful treatment of late star Paul Walker.
Why does everyone know martial arts perfectly? Why is the action so fucking crazy? Why did I just cry at the end. I cried without end. Because a family was torn apart. Because Paul Walker really died. Because the end was an honor for him. A fantastic movie that's actually just okay. It lives through tragedy. Oh, my God, I can hardly write with my tears.
This movie is awesome as always.
Another action packed film from our favourites, with an incredibly touching tribute to the late Paul Walker. The story line is always the same; sick cars, high speed chases, hot girls, $$$$$... gotta love it.
I wonder whats going to happen to this movie now Paul Walker died...
Every story has a beginning a middle and an end.
For Furious 7 they jump out of a plane, jump between buildings, and jump into a helicopter.

About time we finally got to the Rock do his rock bottom move.
A beautiful ending for Paul Walker, you can feel the love in the final scene and I think they couldn't have done a better job.
I'm sure the above has always highly affected my love for this movie but I would like to think that this movie is objectively speaking just a very fun action movie.
It has the perfect amount of comedy, the action keeps getting crazier and Jason Statham is a fun villain. Wouldn't have minded a bit more of The Rock and I did feel the runtime this time around.
Does the military not exist in this universe? They're literally destroying LA with a military drone yet somehow the US air force doesn't respond till its late? How did they even get a drone and military Heli into US airspace?
Did 9/11 not happen in this universe? Is the airspace not monitored or defended at all?
Also how defuck is Dom any good at CQC? How is a random street racer as good at CQC as a trained spacial ops soldier who's been on the run for years?!
This makes most other action movies look like documentaries in comparison.
so ridiculous, so overrated. 5 stars
incredible teamwork & action, Abu Dhabi scene was a m a z i n g. and the song towards the end with that Paul Walker tribute just hits so hard ):
he will be missed, and this journey was one hell of a ride
A good follow up to Fast Five. Although the Fast Five plot really made it seem over for good, the plot twist in the beginning of the film to jumpstart the series is a brilliant one. The new character (villain) introduced is a great one. The plot development and action and emotional parts are good, but not great. This film has a mission brought to Dom by Hobbs that automatically draws the whole team back together although they are retired because the reason is about family. They team up with Hobbs to take down a new bad in exhange for full pardon and allowance back into US.
Fast and Furious 7-11: Convenient and enjoyable if you remember what to expect going in.
Japanese title: Wild Speed SKY MISSION
This is the one where the cars do HALO jumps and gracefully crash from one building to another.
Although it was supposed to be Jason Statham’s supervillain extravaganza, his role ended up being quite limited, with unneeded sub-bosses and government bullcrap getting in the way. Honestly, a Dragon Ball-style showdown with Vin and Jason would’ve been way cooler, but hey, maybe they'll get it right in the next installment? (Probably not).
The Rock is left waiting on the sidelines for most of the movie, but when he makes his triumphant return, it’s sheer cinematic heaven.
Overall it’s all as apologetically atrocious as in the previous six installments, but you can at least notice that it was shot by a decent director this time. No one but Sir James Wan could capture the essence of trashy kitsch that the Toretto family thrives on. It's a kind of directing that would flop in any other movie, but in this crazy world, it fits like a glove.
Sadly, due to the untimely passing of Paul Walker, we're denied the customary final BBQ scene this time around. They had to forcefully rearrange the plot to make his footage fit, but let's be honest, the original idea probably wasn't any better.
Actual score: 4.5
Guilty pleasure score: 7.5
Final score: 6
"Furious 7" is without question the most emotional film in the "Fast & Furious" series. The tragic death of Paul Walker obviously had a significant impact on the production, and given these circumstances, I have to commend the film's handling of the situation. It's a proper, thoroughly worthy farewell to Walker and his character Brian. Apart from that, I like Part 7 better than its predecessor. The action is even more outrageous, but it remains entertaining. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham have some great moments, and I prefer Statham as a villain to Luke Evans. The rest of the crew of Vin Diesel's Dom also continues to shine. Only the soap opera elements remain irritating, and the espionage approach goes a little too far for my liking. But all in all, it still works; in the end, it's the emotions that prevail anyway.
"Dom, cars don't fly! Cars don't fly! HOLY SHITTT!!"
Planes, parachutes on cars, helicopters, jets with missiles and flying cars: I see a theme here! The Furious franchise takes the air, and James Wan takes the controls. He did a great job and he really gets it: a movie that knows what it is, running on cheese, mindless unrealistic action sequences and a bunch of silly one-liners. So much action, more than ever before I feel like.
Jason Statham was awesome as the villain, he doesn't talk much but he has presence and knows how to do a proper fight. Paul Walker's character felt a bit more compelling in this one compared to the other movies (not hard to beat though). I saw Vin Diesel as more of a badass rather than a macho prick which is great. Michelle Rodriguez kicks some ass in a red dress. Too bad The Rock was sidelined. I could say the same for Tyrese and Ludacris, they're just kinda there, they crack a joke every once in a while.
Epic third act. A good watch. So entertaining. Nice tribute to Paul Walker, I just wish they integrated it better with the story.
Furious 7 is a solid addition to the Fast and Furious franchise, with some standout moments that make it worth the watch. One of the biggest strengths of the film is the introduction of Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham, who brings a new level of intensity to the series. However, Furious 7 is also the first film in the series where some of the action scenes start to feel exaggerated and over the top, stretching the limits of believability. While this may be a turn-off for some, it's still enjoyable ride that delivers on the thrilling car chases and explosive set pieces that fans have come to expect.
Yeah sure. With most of these films after 5 the pros and cons are more or less the same, and this one is no different. It has some very nice, creative set pieces and humour that compensate pretty well for the trashy acting, dialogue, plotting and music. The whole ‘Daddy’s gotta go to work’ scene gets me every time, it’s so stupid in the best possible way. The directing, while not visionary, is generally quite good; I even noticed some of Wan’s trademarks in there. The biggest mistake it makes is leaving out Dwayne Johnson for so much of it, every time he’s om the screen the movie gets significantly more entertaining. I also hate how they handled the death of Paul Walker. The concept’s nice, but because it’s Fast and Furious they have to go overboard by making it excessively cheesy with the montage and awful song choice. Cheese is generally a strength of this franchise but those are the kind of moments where you have to show more restraint as a director. All in all, it’s a passable fun time as long as you can embrace the insanity, but not much more than that either.
5.5/10
That fight scene between Michelle Rodriguez and Rhonda Rousey!
Watching this in 2022. That last scene got me man.:sob: Rest in Peace, Paul Walker!
Much better than the previous one, especially the action scenes. The dialogue is still super weird at times but less cringey this time around. The plot makes absolutely no sense and the characters can teleport anywhere they want at any time without knowing where they're supposed to be or with any set-up. These characters are invincible, they have the strongest plot armour in any movie I've ever seen, including the Marvel movies. Despite the fun visuals the soundtrack is extremely lacking and the score is buried deep in the edit.
The entire Abu Dhabi sequence feels like a tourism commercial and I'm pretty certain it was when the credits end with "Visit Abu Dhabi"... it was really out of place, it felt like a different director filmed it.
I enjoyed most of this movie as I have all the Vin Diesel F & F franchise but the action climax of this movie was so hyperbolic that it was almost comical. In their effort to go big they fell over. I love that these movies don’t end with a hail of bullets. They come back around to connections and relationships. This one has a particular poignant close, Paul Walker (Brian O’Connor) died in 2013 as the result of a single vehicle car accident. I give this movie an 8 (good) out of 10. [Action]
It gets more and more stupid and over the top as the film goes on...
2 hrs Kindergarten movie for adults with muscle babies, who can fly with bolides and wannabe muscle amazons, who not only can wiggle their b(o)(o)bs, also master all weapons and seemingly Japanese fighting techniques mixed with Wrestling are mastered of the cradle!
On top of that, a retro actor as a pseudo cool commander who seems poor and superfluous against all the Bad Boys bursting about too much coolness!
All this packed in predominantly completely unrealistic film scenes, where toddlers would say, "That doesn't work at all" LOL ... nevertheless maybe a MUST for Vin Diesel and Jason Statham fans or Kurt Russel and Michelle Rodriguez Lovers... at least mostly boring but a tribute to Paul Walker RiP♧
For Paul
Furious 7 follows the death of his brother at the hands of Dominic Toretto and his eclectic crew, the cold, calculated Ian Shaw vows vengeance - and no one is safe from his reach.
I think we all know what to expect from the Fast and the Furious films by now. Yeah there are stupid and the law of physics dose not exist in these movies, but the movies are so enjoyable when it comes to it's action and it's extremely cheesy one liners that all the law of physics stuff will fly pass your head just like that. Now here is the 7th movie in the franchise and could you believe it. Well, I wouldn't and who better to director it than the man who usual dose horror films James Wan, and him taking the directing chair was a nice move to do.
Now the one thing I was a bit worried about is how Jame Wan was going to handle the action in the movie, but then I remembered he did 'Death Sentence', and got a little interested. After seeing the movie, I can say it pulled off perfectly as the action scenes looked net and well put together when it came to the big action set pieces.
The cast and crew all return and while some of them are not the greatest actors on the plant like Dwayne Johnson and many more, but just like Arnold Schwarzenegger, you know they not the greatest but you like seeing them on the big screen, because they always seem to be so likable that you are happy to see them anywhere.
Jason Statham as the villain is basically Jason Statham acting all tough and mean for the movie.
Now during filming of this movie, Paul Walker sadly passed way due to a car crash. Now Paul isn't my top pick for best actors but I really do respect the guy and I heard nothing but great things about him. It must have been really hard for the cast and crew to continue after his death with all of them know him so well. Vin Diesel spoke out of how hard it was for him and for him not to break down in front of everybody in a movie premiere about his best friend or his brother (he likes to call it) that is no longer with us. Imagine that for a moment and let that sink in.
The movie dose do a tribute at the end to Paul and it almost brought a tear to my eye. It was perfect and so moving that it was a good send off to Paul Walker. So, from me to you Paul, farewell.
For problems with the movie are very basic to be honest with the dialogue and some of the quick shot editing that everybody can spot straight away from problems, but at the end of the day, this is like a 90's action movie with the cheese and goofiness with a little salt of heart to it.
"You thought this was gonna be a street fight? You're goddamn right it is!" Exciting and action-packed, Furious Seven delivers an over-the-top, supercharged adventure. When rogue mercenary Deckard Shaw comes after Dominic Toretto and his crew they seek the help of a shadow government agency in order to get the upper hand. Jason Statham and Kurt Russell join the series and deliver strong performances. And the action scenes are insane, featuring some unbelievable stunts. Additionally, the film does a good job at handling the death of Paul Walker, and gives his character a nice send off. Furious Seven is a little silly and goes off the rails at times, but it's still wildly entertaining and incredibly fun.
Most overrated action film in recent memory. Boring and generic as fuck.
Can't make me push play... You're not getting me again Hollywood!!!... I'd rather watch Dukes of Hazzard reruns all day and see cooler Mopars and Daisy's dukes...than push play on this 15 year old prepubescent bonerfest
R.I.P Paul. so sad about your death
everyone want to see u again
A lot of people say the scenes are impossible in real life but who cares it's a f#*@ing action move shut up sit back and enjoy the action.
i mean amazing movie, and an emotional ending brought tears to my eyes and u all know the eight movie will be kinda risky without Paul (Brian)
Loved the Tribute,hated the movie.
Sadly the last one. I would have watched it until F & F 30... Story was maybe a bit over the top (let's just hack everything with a click of a button... sure...). BUT, solid acting (seriously, who sucked? Nobody...) and solid action scenes. This is not Advanced Shakespeare, this is an action movie and a really good one.
This is one of those movies where the French decided on an English name but for some inexplicable reason the original English name was not good enough for them. So in France it is called Fast & Furious 7 but I believe it is called Furious Seven in the US. Typical French way of doing things I am afraid.
This movie is probably not for everyone. It is very typical for the latest Fast & Furious movies though. The movie can be summed up by explosions, fast cars, fighting, did I mention explosions, repeat until credits roll. For me it was just what I expected and just what I wanted from this particular movie as well. If you are into fast cars, lots of action and explosive special effects and a bit of male macho talk then this movie will please you just fine.
The gang is back. I have to confess that I like both Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson even though they are rather far from Shakespeare material as far as acting goes. For this kind of movie they are perfect though. Unfortunately Dwayne Johnson was absent for a good chunk of the movie. When he came back from his brief presence in the beginning of the movie he did so with a vengeance though. I was actually expecting to dislike “Mr Nobody” but I have to say that I quite liked him.
Despite the fact that this is a macho action movie there is at least a small kernel of story in there. It is a classical revenge story but it is embellished with enough material to make it fairly decent. Well, decent within the confines of this kind of movie of course. Seen from a reasonable point of view the entire movie is of course totally ludicrous. The stunts are really cool but if you sober up from the adrenaline feast you rather quickly find a lot of the stunts pretty far out. Like jumping between buildings in fancy cars and such like. Even if we skip the most ridiculous scenes there are plenty more to nit-pick about. Like the fact that those old, but cool, American cars that Torretto drives would not have a chance in hell against his more modern adversaries unless possibly if the road was entirely straight. But then, these ridiculous things are what the fast and furious series is all about is it not?
Well, after about two hours of ludicrous, but very entertaining, actions stunts there is a happy ending and when the credits roll this viewer is definitely a happy customer.
DECKARD SHAW DID NOTHING WRONG.
Anybody complaining about the lack of realism & story clearly doesn´t understand what Fast & Furious stands for.
Please let this be the last one of the franchise and stand as a tribute to Paul.
can somebody pls tell me how trakt. tv works?????
What a great film but towards the end I felt very upset, because I know that this actor wasn't just an actor he was such an inspirational legendary, idol character to filming making so many enjoyable movies...
R.I.P
Paul Walker X X
Awesome ending of F&Furious. I liked the way they say goodbye to Paul. Incredible FX, action, everything!(:
Horrible, pointless unrealistic situations with no logical coherence the whole plot sequence. If it wasn't for Walker tribute this would be the laugh of the cinema
One of the best (if not the best) in the franchise! I liked how they connected the old school F&F with the new ones, also loved the Paul tribute at the end, very powerful image. One thing that disappointed me was the lack of the Tokyo scenes!! Come on the movie base on the events that happened in Tokyo Drift and you put just one tiny scene of Sean and Twinkie?
I should be to old for this :D
Is a great movie (there are better from this saga) but I give it a 10 just for that end... T_T
The only thing good in this one was the tribute to paul walker.
there was way too much action, even for me, and there were so many logical flaws.
Loved the respectful goodbye and touching tribute to Paul Walker. He will be greatly missed.
This is the seventh movie of the same fucking theme? And you're telling me they're all different? Can't believe people still watch this shit. It's the same plot over and over again.. freaking boring.
No offence to Paul Walker though.
Fans of those kind of movies will probably adore it, I had a fun time watching it onces but wouldn't watch it ever again.
Better than some old ones. Awesome Paul Walker tribute
Totally unrealistic and even the action parts are boring, bizarre values shown like "badass" people praising family?? Oh, come on...
I agree with Theofilos. It has SO MUCH action that it does not seem Fast N' Furious movies.. :s
This is a must-see in IMAX!
The things are ever more incredible, But I prefer film 5 and 6
This will be a kick-ass movie to look up to

I think that in the next movie they're going to fight against aliens from another galaxy and they will have cars that can transform into spaceships and Dwayne Johnson will kill a dinosaur with his fists.
