The premise is very appealing especially for a Christmas movie, but everything else unfortunately falls short. I had hopes for this one as "European", especially Scandinavian humor usually has a darker edge with almost no second-hand embarrasment compared to US comedies, but this could easily pass as the latter. Even if it's based on true events and they had happened like this, the filmmakers could have altered some things to be...better. (And if this is the altered version, they didn't do such a great job.)
Now I really want to watch a Scandinavian×Indian family introduction movie that is witty and good
:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: - Seriously it’s a good film. Recommend to watch

This was goofy and had many funny moments. I'm so glad I came across this movie, even though it's February at the moment and a bit out of season to watch this. I will definitely watch this again during the season. Ida Ursin-Holm is gorgeous, OMG :flushed:!
PS: For those saying the two main actors don't have chemistry, based on what I read on social media, the couple is engaged in real-life. At the beginning they state that this movie is based on a true story. Maybe the couple's own experience? Either way, the movie felt very authentic.
It was fine. A nice story but just so sloooow. A shame. Could have been so much better.
How awful. Shame on the writers.
